Shakeout operator wanted in Pathankot

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Pathankot, State of Punjab. The job is on the moulding line. We are looking for willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor; able to read simple casting drawings and job cards; knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding. The role involves: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. ₹1,600 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
