Tile mason • Kannur, State of Kerala

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tile mason in Kannur, State of Kerala. You will be based in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. Day-to-day duties: • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system What we are looking for: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage Pay around ₹120 per hour, based on your experience.
