Foundry operative — Thiruvarur

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry operative in Thiruvarur, State of Tamil Nadu. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. You should bring comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal; experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry. Day to day you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. ₹28,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
