Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Palwal, State of Haryana. The job is on a commercial construction site. Day to day you will mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. ₹26,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
