You should bring sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations; able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements; physically fit for full-site inspections on foot. The role involves verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry.
