Join our team: we are hiring a cement mason in Bagalkot, State of Karnataka. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. On the job you will handle: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing Ideally you have sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods; physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
