Immediate opening: fabricator-welder (State of Karnataka)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Chamrajnagar, State of Karnataka. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. The role involves: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 5+ years on the tools preferred.
