Steel fixer — Thoothukkudi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in Thoothukkudi, State of Tamil Nadu. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Day to day you will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
