Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Thiruvarur, State of Tamil Nadu. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. You should bring comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers; quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths. Day-to-day duties: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
