Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Madurai, State of Tamil Nadu. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. You should bring safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery; physically fit to stand and lift workpieces; willing to work rotating shifts and night shift. Day to day you will set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges.
