Now hiring: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Pulwama, State of Jammu and Kashmir. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings The role involves mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around ₹38,500 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off.
