Tiling assistant • Tiruppur, State of Tamil Nadu

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Tiruppur, State of Tamil Nadu. You will be based in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. What we are looking for: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone The role involves set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles.
