Now hiring: we are hiring a presser in Kinnaur, State of Himachal Pradesh. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings The role involves: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Six days a week, one day off.
