Fabrication workshop technician — Burhanpur

Join our team: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh. You will be based on a window-and-door production line. Your main tasks: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely Overtime paid at a premium rate.
