Vertical milling machine operator • Kulgam, State of Jammu and Kashmir

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Kulgam, State of Jammu and Kashmir. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. Day to day you will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces 3+ years on the tools preferred.
