Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Churachandpur, Manipur. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position We are looking for valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket; comfortable working at height and in confined spaces; sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
