Immediate opening: brick and block layer (Union Territory of Puducherry)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Puducherry, Union Territory of Puducherry. You will be based on a commercial construction site. The role involves: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays You should bring NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage; able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks; sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish).
