Vacancy available: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Purba Medinipur, West Bengal. On a typical shift you will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; season and marinate meat on request. What we are looking for: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
