Day to day you will escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges. Ideally you have familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems; strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping; confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges.
