Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in North Garo Hills, Meghalaya. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment You will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; give each garment a final press before packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
