Great opportunity: tyre technician (State of Karnataka)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tyre technician in Davanagere, State of Karnataka. You will be based at a roadside mobile fitting unit. Day to day you will jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights; check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear. What we are looking for: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
