Safety inspector • Kannur, State of Kerala

Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety inspector in Kannur, State of Kerala. You will be based on a high-rise building project. On the job you will handle: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
