The role involves operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Part-time with flexible hours.
