Road roller operator • Soreng, Sikkim

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a road roller operator in Soreng, Sikkim. You will work at a road-building project. Ideally you have good depth perception and hand-eye coordination; understanding of safe digging near underground services. Day to day you will excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around ₹140 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
