Foundry operative — Thiruvananthapuram

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry operative in Thiruvananthapuram, State of Kerala. Your main tasks: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity We are looking for comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal; understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
