Sample machinist — Eluru

Now hiring: we are hiring a sample machinist in Eluru, State of Andhra Pradesh. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. Day to day you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. We are looking for hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines; knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance; understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens.
