Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Jamnagar, State of Gujarat. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. The role involves: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Ideally you have can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols; ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage; steady hand and good hand-eye coordination. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. ₹28,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
