We are recruiting: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Udhampur, State of Jammu and Kashmir. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Day-to-day duties: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around ₹1,450 per day, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
