Vacancy available: we are hiring a bricklayer in Kakinada, State of Andhra Pradesh. The job is on a new-build development. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Day to day you will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge.
