Fire and safety officer — Jogulamba Gadwal

Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions The role involves carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
