The role involves follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms. Ideally you have valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence; comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain; familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems.
