Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar installer in Ukhrul, Manipur. On the job you will handle: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors You should bring sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing; aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements; able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules.
