Semi-automatic welder wanted in Chandigarh

Now hiring: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Chandigarh, Union Territory of Chandigarh. You will be based at an automobile body shop. The role involves set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Pay around ₹27,500 per month, based on your experience.
