Ideal candidate: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections The role involves: • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank 2+ years on the tools preferred.
