Requirements: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC The role involves recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; service split AC units and VRF systems; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture.
