Steel fixing chargehand • Tiruvannamalai, State of Tamil Nadu

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Tiruvannamalai, State of Tamil Nadu. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. Day to day you will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. You should bring valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves); comfortable working at height and in deep excavations; willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates.
