Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh. The job is on a busy residential building site. The role involves fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
