The role involves: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Run load and overload tests with test weights You should have: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Valid driving licence for site call-outs ₹33,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
