Now hiring: we are hiring a single needle operator in Sitamarhi, State of Bihar. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. Day to day you will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown 2+ years on the tools preferred.
