Immediate opening: tube and fitting scaffolder (West Bengal)

Join our team: we are hiring a tube and fitting scaffolder in Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal. You will be based at a shipyard. Your main tasks: • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level You should have: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Able to read basic scaffold drawings Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
