Immediate opening: we are hiring a butcher in Debagarh, State of Odisha. The job is in a meat processing plant. Day to day you will dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
