Immediate opening: excavator operator (Union Territory of Puducherry)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an excavator operator in Yanam, Union Territory of Puducherry. You will be based in a demolition and site-clearance yard. On the job you will handle: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. ₹16,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
