Join our team: we are hiring a pressman in Hnahthial, Mizoram. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
