Your main tasks: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
