Semi-automatic welder • Basti, Uttar Pradesh

Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Basti, Uttar Pradesh. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves grind back and re-weld any defective runs; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. Ideally you have steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances; knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes; 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
