Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing presser in Nilgiris, State of Tamil Nadu. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. You should bring a keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases; able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine. The role involves: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments 1+ years on the tools preferred.
