We are recruiting: we are hiring a furniture maker in Chikmagalur, State of Karnataka. The job is at a shopfitting company. Day-to-day duties: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level We are looking for at least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience; confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers; own basic hand tools. We offer ₹29,500 per month plus benefits. PF/ESI and paid leave as per norms. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
