The role involves: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Read lift plans and method statements before starting We are looking for sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness; physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles; confident with standard crane hand signals. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
