Pipe TIG welder • Cooch Behar District, West Bengal

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Cooch Behar District, West Bengal. The job is on a structural steel site. On the job you will handle: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Full-time, day shift.
