You should bring CSCS card or willingness to obtain one; NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage; physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day. The role involves: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
